Then to Now - six years later
It's been a while since I've written an article, and there are a few reasons why.
Firstly, I fell out of interest in WordPress. While 2016 was a peak year for the CMS, I found myself more interested in PHP and the WordPress Codex than actually posting.
I also felt burnt out from following the film and creative industries, as I wanted to achieve so much but the world and the entry into those industries didn't align with my goals.
Finally, I realised that I was at the beginning of my learning journey and that I'm more interested in problem solving than I originally thought.
With that said, I want to start writing again for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, I want to use this as a space for "rubber duck debugging," where I can write through and understand new topics as I come across them.
Additionally, I want to use this space to explain things I've learned and share my knowledge with others, or at least have a historical record for myself.
Let's see how this goes!
As I go the backlog of articles I had, and things I've meaning to write, there might be some posts in-between 2016 to 2023. However, the last post I wrote on Wordpress was My Unfortunate Experience with Aero Quartet and Treasured Software for prosperity's sake.
